The L&D Hospital

Elizabeth, was born on Sunday 24th February 2002 1lb 4 ounces at 27 weeks.  On entering the world of neonatal care Tania & Nic were greeted by the nurses with great care and compassion.  Our daughter was looked after with professionalism and a fantastic attitude by the nurses and doctors.  Tania and Nic owe everything to them.

Elizabeth spent 3 ½ months in hospital and among other things had a brain haemorrhage, 10 blood transfusions, a hole in the heart and pneumonia.  She is now a fantastic little girl at Bovingdon Primary School.

The BPSA is currently trying to raise money for a new Sports complex at Bovingdon Primary School.  As Nic & Tania’s three children will spend their first school years, we thought it would be nice to try and give something back to the community.

In return Bovingdon Primary School parents are giving to the Georgetown Trust with money donations and gifts to the children of Georgetown. Click here to see a letter recently sent out to parents.

The Georgetown Trust

Nic’s brother has been raising money for the School’s in the Gambia for over 5 years.  By creating a link between the Bovingdon Primary School and The Georgetown primary school we will try and raise more awareness between the two schools.
